I am based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and expect to be mostly free July and August 2010. Have vehicle and all possible climbing gear, including wall gear. Will lead 5.9, follow 5.10. Hi, I will be in the Bugs for a week during the first half of July with a friend from Edmonton, and wouldn't mind extending that--that's not very far from Fernie, might even be able to pick you up there. Check out my post dated today for more info. Cheers,

Hmmm. That might be tough for me. We are moving all our stuff from Edmonton to Fernie the first week of July. So I may not have time. But who knows. Maybe the wife will power through things and get everything finished quickly.

Hi, cableguy; let's try to keep the lines of communication open. The "second week of July" may end up being the third week; I'm also thinking of doing some stuff at Roger's Pass after the Bugs, and will be mostly in the Rockies (Squamish is also on the agenda) till the end of August.
Did I give you my cell #? (780)938-6823. They seem to not work at the Kain Hut, but halfway out to the highway coverage seems to start; also it should probably work at the summit of Snowpatch etc. So it can't hurt to try leaving a message. Also, you may be able to relay messages to the hut via ACC in Canmore (I'll probably be staying in the hut for that week).
