Can someone tell me the best climbing gym in montreal? Who has the best wall, best atmosphere, best over all? I am visiting Montreal sometime in August. Would someone be kind enough to show me around and partner up with me for the few days I'm there. I've been climbing religiously for about a month now.

i've been there on business and i liked allez up. it took a bit to explain to the cabbie where it was, good thing i looked it up on the net and printed it out!!! the climbs are pretty stiff, and colour coded. good variety of climb types, including overhangs, ceilings, and slab. feel free to PM me for any details. oh, and it's a gravel floor.

The best gym in Montreal is definitely Cegep Andre Laurendeau in Lasalle. You wont believe the size of the roof they have over there (about 8 clips in the roof). Its closed during summer though and I'm not sure when they open again, probably somewhere in August. But why bother, if your coming over in August, climb outside, lots of nice spots around the city. Mt Orford is like climbing indoors but its outdoors, very nice indeed and about 40 minutes from montreal!!! Steve
