howdy. As for gyms, there are a bunch in downtown TO, but I've only ever been to Joe Rockheads. It's a good gym, though in my experiences a lot of people there can be a bit stuck up...but what can ya do. At least the climbings good. As for real crag, if you've got a car, or know someone who does, check out the niagara glen...it's about an hour and a half drive...there's also muskoka...that's about 2hrs. Leave early in the AM and it's a good day trip.

howdy. welcome.

there are a few gyms here in downtown TO... the popular ones are joe rockheads (west end downtown) rock oasis (closer to central downtown) and toronto climbing academy (east end downtown)

i have climbed at both jrh and oasis - currently a member of oasis. the last few times i've been to jrh i found that they didn't change the routes very often, though someone who climbs there regularly could let you know the current state of things.

oh and someone's bound to mention "mount devo" boulders on the ryerson u. campus, but i bike by there on the way to work and most of the boulders are cordoned off... construction or something

Also if you like bouldering you can check out The Pad in Vaughn a little north but some awesome problems.

For real outdoor climbing
The Glen is bouldering (spectacular)

There is a some crags in milton
Kelso, Nemo, Bottle Glass

Collingwood area has some more stuff

and then way up for like a weekend trip you have Bruce Penisula,

Check out "A Sport Climbers guide to Ontario Limestone" or "The Escarpment"

or let me know what you climb and I can post some stuff from them for you.
