Moving to Canmore in about a week, depending on the drive, let me know if anyone's interested in getting out on ice/alpine/whateva. Nik PS - looking for a place to live out there....

hey man -- i have a buddy who climbed in cougar canyon on valentines day last week, and this last saturday me and dan2see were at wasootch. a bit chilly, but tons of fun nonetheless. definitely worth going! tonight i was at the gym and one of the guys there is going to try a route on yamnuska tomorrow. forecast is supposed to be amazing for this week...

A lot of the Bow Valley boys have climbed Yamnuska and know it well. Come on guys, what do you think? Is Yam rock a good alternative to ice, especially if the Chinooks hang around?

another weekend is approaching! weather looks warm for the week -- hopefully it will carry on through the weekend as well. Canmore is my destination this weekend. i am looking for partners for sport climbing saturday and sunday. i've heard Bataan is great this time of year. Easiest climb there is a 10a, and it has a nice long high approach. I'd also be up for easier stuff elsewhere too. the days are open. as long as i'm near some rock, i'm happy.

Will be looking for alpine partners right away, looking at routes like Shooting Gallery, Humble horse and the like as well as alpine rock routes, some of my other partners are not into wakeing up early and others are working
