Looking to see if anyone has a pic from the Falcon Northeast Rock Climbing Route Guidebook they can e-mail me as I ordered a copy of this book from Amazon and it won't get here by 6/18/2011 when I need it to go there. I'm from NY and not familiar with the crag and WHERE these routes ARE - and want to take a friend there to top rope and introduce her to climbing. Would appreciate if anyone could share this page from the guidebook with me until I can get my copy of the book IN my hands! Thanks!

I have an old Falcon New England guide that has a picture of Chapel Ledge--not sure if that's the one you're thinking of. I can probably send you a copy if you want, although you really won't need it. The main beginner area is a tall slab that's the first thing you come to as you walk in. There are now two sets of anchor bolts at the top, from which you can top-rope all the climbs. You will need some long runners--20-30"--to extend the anchors below the bolts. The rest of the climbs are found by continuing down the cliff from the main slab. It's a pretty compact crag--you can walk the whole thing in 5 minutes or so. Hope this helps, Grant

OK, thanks for the info! I have some 120 cm slings but I guess I will need some longer ones, or a static rope to set up the rigging with, etc. Would love to see a pic of it if you'd be so-inclined to e-mail me a copy of it...sure would appreciate it tho. My e-mail is: Scoobiedoo6559@gmail.com Thanks for the info!
