Sorry for the short notice, but I have a trip coming up tomorrow (Sunday 8/4). We have a couple slots open, so I am trying to fill them. We are going to the Shawangunk cliffs in New Paltz, NY. This is a section of the Catskill Mountains. We're hiring guides, and the rate comes down to $75 per person with equipment. Beginners are OK, we're probably going to seperate into two skill levels. I dont know why you got guides, you should have just found someone who knew the area and had a guide book. but thats just me

I would have gone with somebody who knew the area, but I live about 180 miles from the area, and I don't know anybody from my town who knows the area. Plus I'd need to find somebody who has lead equipment but is still willing to go on some 5.6s until I get some more experience.
