Hey Punk, If you visit Stu's place, make sure to bring your sense of humor, it takes a certain type of mentality to really appreciate him (I can). -Don Diego-

You guys should check the Pittsburgh Explorer's Club schedule. If those guys are there Fahgetabowtit!!! They take about 400 people at a time and you can't get on any decent route there without waiting for HOURS. Just a fair warning so you know what to expect. Wish I could join you for sure.

I live about 1 1/2 hours from seneca so if you want to hook up and climb pm me. As far as showers go camp at princess snowbird they have showers there and it is closer to the crag. If you need any route info let me know. I have climbed there quite a bit as a matter of fact I am heading out there tomorrow

Somewhat off topic, but is Seneca upstate? I grew up near Syracuse, and I know Seneca Lake, but know nothing of any climbing in the area. I'm out west now, so might have been out of the loop.

Hey punk, If I can make it I will be there, although, Pittsburgh AYH might be bringing their beginners out there (but if its too crowded, there is always Nelson down the road:) Oh yeah, the best campground to stay there is Seneca Shadows! its very nice, the showers are excellent and its cheap Irina

Thanks for the heads up Punk. Saranac Lake is farther north in the adirondacks. Home of Saranac Brewing Company, mmmmmmmmm black n tans. Seneca is closer to central NY Finger Lake region. REally pretty, NO climbing though.

Hey Punk...man I wish I could join you but I have to work this weekend and am returning to school on Tues. College SUCKS! Nah, I like it but it takes away from my time on the rock. While you are there, definately take the time to meet Stu and gang. Ask him to hook you up with Brian. If he's free I'm sure he'd love to climb with you. He's always looking for new people to climb with. We had a great time climbing Seneca together @ a week ago. Only had time for one pitch before I had to hit the road but it was a sweet 5.7 called Neckpress. His home base is Nelson where he works and lives but if you have wheels I'm sure he'd be happy to join you at Seneca. Have fun and stay safe. ~Danyelle
