i was flipping thru my old bellefonte guide book reminiscing about the late 90's. ticked a lot of routes in the upper, and believe it or not cleaned up a few oldie but goodies in the lower. yesssss.... i know it's closed bla bla bla. are the access issues the same as they were then? better worse? not that my old partner and i would ever contemplate a reunion tour... any locals feel free to drop me an email at crzybotr at yahoo dot com.

Sure do but they're in a shoe box.... see back then cameras used what was to referred to as film. Film was a small strip of acetate covered in chemicals..... poking fun at me not you. I'm too lazy to scan that crap in, plus it reminds me of a long lost love, my hair...

HA! Yeah, I remember film cameras..And my hair... Ever do any of the traverses? We had the 'every traverse in a day' challenge for a little while. Pretty sure I was the only one dumb enough to try it. I did do the 'Leopard wall in a day' several times though. One time it started raining suddenly and we bailed to the car.(at the time you could drive right up to the base, we're talking sun-roof belay.) Well, we sat in the car and blazed hashish. Then the sun came out. Shoot! Now we gotta finish! We did, probably a little slower than we started-out! Another great day at the quarry.

Plenty of pics in a shoebox at my Ma's back in SC. I tried the traverse challenge with Jeff Pennington back in the day. We did them all but not without falling.
