I am always looking for some new things, books, mags, journals to read. I am curious to know what people are currently reading. I've been reading some Reinhold Messner auto. Also some go Cell biology text book, and Regional Landscape Ecology-for classes of course....... :?: :shock:

hey i just got done reading american rock and Kiss or kill by mark Twight
those are both awsome books and i would highly sugest u read them
itll want u to claimb everything
Kiss or kill will give u another look at soloing
and the Style of climbing mark Twight is all about style.
American rock is more about the culture of rockclimbing in the USA its got alot to do with the regions and what type of rock they have and what type of climbing pps do there
and the biggest Spott to climb in the region
both are sweet books :wink:

Another vote for American Rock. Good book that looks at the developement and culture of American Climbing. Also, if you haven't read Lynn Hill's book, definitely do so. Great read..

Paul Pritchard's book is supposed to be rather good as well. I can't think of the name of it though, and I have it sitting at home (just haven't read it yet).
I have read a bit of his work though.. he did a short bit for Climbing magazine last summer. Really good.. talks about his battle back from being paralized after an accident while climbing the Totem Pole in Tazmania (took a rock to the head without a helmet). I'll look at home what the name of the book is, and which issue of Climbing it's in.

Aside from climbing books, are there any other s worth mentioning. I've been hearing alot about The Devinci Code. Is supposed to be very good! On alot of best sellers lists!

This is more for training, but I've recently been introduced to grip strength training. I'm reading a book by John Brookfield, "The Grip Master's Manual" for more info check out www.ironmind.com The captains of crush are really addicting.
