i was wondering if there were any climber dads and moms out there that regularly take their kids with them. I have an almost five year old that loves to hike and climb around (mainly likes scrambling up access routes and hard climber trails. He climbs a little on easier climbs, and loves camping.
What I was hoping for was to take him out more this year, Devil's Lake and Southern Illinois. I am looking for someone to partner up with with a kid with similar interests. My wife does not partake in the camping/climbing thing so we are usually going alone.

If anyone is interested in taking their kids out, please feel free to contact me. My son and I try to do something every other weekend, and it would be nice to have other kids for him to relate/play with.

I am also interested in getting a group of climber/parents/ kids together for monthly outing or what ever. I know the hardest part of climbing as a parent is family responsibility, thats why I don't make it out near as much as I would like. So to Get Out More, I bring my son.
I am open most weekends

OK , well if anyone is interested,

jay
