Hey all, Trying to get some beta on access to Mt. Magazine climbing... everything on line seems to be 3 or more years old. Has it been maintained for sport, do you have to rap down or is their a trail... any and all input appreciated!!!

I was there in March 2009. From the lodge parking lot you can get to the sidewalk above the cliffs. From the west end of the lodge parking lot you can scramble down a mostly dry water channel or there are rappel spots from near the east end of the lodge. The trails are marked with signs near the lodge. Check in at the visitors center for more detail.
