yes to WI. Ashland i think. natural science major or so? i checked the route database here and they have nothing. my family lives there.. lakes, kinda flat. cant remember if im thinking of Wi or canada though. have to say that there isnt a lot of rocks up there, just some rolling hills. lots of sand, but the rivers are rock. i think you will be able to find some boulders around somewhere.

Yes, Northland is located in Ashland right next to the Lake. As for rock - tons. Less than an hour from Duluth and from there a very short drive along the lake to the North Shore.
