...but I'm new here. So please let me know if this post is in the wrong area. I appreciate it!
Actually, I'm looking for folks in the MPLS area who have old used webbing or rope that they are looking to toss out. I'm working on a project, and as it turns out, it's somewhat difficult to find used webbing, runners, and rope.
Now, I know I can get new webbing for super cheap, but I'm really looking for the used beat up stuff. It has a little more personality(...hope that doesn't sound weird).
Shoot me a message if you're in the Twin Cities area, I would be more than happy to drop by and pick it up.

You should check out the Facebook page for the MCA, they will be able to help you out more.
Possibly contact Vertical Endeavors in St. Paul and see if they can give you some old ropes (they probably won't though, liability reasons).
Hopefully this was a bit helpful and will lead to some results for you.
