Anyone climb in Ohio? Anyone who climbs in Ohio willing to share your wisdom to relative beginner?

Couple of years ago I was just getting into the sport and was climbing quite a bit indoors but unfortunately a non climbing related accident put a halt to all that.

Now Im looking to start climbing again. Admittedly, I will need a bit of time to relearn some basics but I am a quick learner and am open to heeding the advice of someone more experienced than I.

I want to climb and I want to climb safe. I just need someone who's willing to help.

You're right! That would be a good start. I am in Youngstown but have no problem traveling a little.

Check out the Western PA Climbers Thread http://www.rockclimbing.com/...3;page=unread#unread. A lot of people on there climb at McConnell Mills (in PA, but not too far from Youngstown) and Logtown Quarries.

I would have no problem getting together with you. I'm heading to Seattle for a week, but feel free to PM me and we can meet when I get back.

Kendall Cliffs
60 Kendall Park Road, Peninsula, OH‎IO

I just came back from there today. I really enjoyed it there. I really don't go rock climbing, but I wish I was more involved but I lack of transportation and money to do so.

Logtown
Furnace Rd, Lisbon, Ohio 44432

I haven't been to Logtown since August. It was interesting. It was my first time there and it was also my first time experiencing outdoor climbing too. I'm from East Liverpool, which is 45 minutes south of Youngstown. But, I'm moving to Tampa, Florida on May 30th for about a year or so.
