Ok... Piano we have talked about meeting sometime this winter. It is time that your chick and you come down to Jackson Falls and we get a meeting going. Set a date (not a Sunday or Wednesday, I work). I'm sure we can probably talk JDS, Jbur, N8Rain, Nessy, ClimberStephan, and a few others into going.

I'd show up if someone planned a get-together in Illinois! I'm only about 3 hours from Jackson Falls.

I'm about an hour and a half from the good stuff! I'm supprised at the amount of replies this post has gotten, I thought there would be more interest in a meeting @ So. Il. [ This Message was edited by: andy_lemon on 2002-03-18 15:45 ]

I'm sorry, I'm a tad retarded and never check this forum. I was there this weekend with Dana (although I had the flu, and life sucked.) It was wet as my ass in a pool, so climbing was bummin. I did set a new problem (or what I think is new, was nasty dirty, green, etc). Only about 10 feet high, but the top out is impossible. Slippery!! But it was fun. It was my first time there...such a nice looking place. I would love to see it in the late spring on a sunny day. One of the guy's we saw down there mentioned a place called Holy (holey?) boulders. Sounded nice, but my condition rendered me bleh. We'll get down there again sometime....

Let us all know when Mr. Piano can take his sweet time and get down there again!!! Holly Boulders, I think, is located close to Jackson Falls... it has about 1,001 different names and until someone documents it they will keep popping up all over the place. I've never been there but I hear it is an awesome place to boulder. Oh and... Just let us know when YOU feel like climbing. LMAO Andy

I think this is a great idea Andy! During the summer there is tons of people there on the weekends... we should plan accordingly.
