I'm not looking to spam the boards here but I wanted to spread the word in case any climbers are looking for a summer job. We're looking for people who want to spend their summer doing what they love... climbing . North Star Camp for Boys is looking for climbing instructors to work with our campers, teaching them various levels of climbing skills. We have three climbing walls at our camp with our main wall being a 50+ foot climbing tower with one rock face and two obstacle faces. We also have a smaller wall and a bouldering wall.
We pay a competitive summer salary and room and board is included. All staff lives at our residential summer camp in Northern Wisconsin (we do pay travel expenses so don't worry about where you're traveling from). Our instructors will also have the opportunity to instruct and participate in other recreational activities including waterskiing, sailing, land sports and more.
If you're looking for a meaningful summer job, this is a great opportunity. Excellent candidates will be excited about working with kids, helping them become better climbers.
We're not hiring people to stand and belay all day, this is an opportunity to actually teaching climbing.
