There is a pretty good rock climbing rappelling area on big pine rd in hocking hills. It is about 30 minutes from zaleski. The area is near conckles hollow in the old mans cave area. Some cliff about 100 ft and lots of smaller stuff you can top rope.

Not any climbing withing Zaleski state park. However the post above is correct. Big Springs climbing area aka Hocking Hills Rock and Rappelling area is no more than 30 minutes away. It is located of off Big Pine Road. Some really good overhanging boulder problems are there also....check it out. I have toproped a lot of that and ice-climbed some really fun non technical flows. It is a beautiful area. If you want to check it out sometime, let me know. I'm always up for a hike and a top-rope. chad@hocking.edu
