I am thinking of going out and practicing some aid this afternoon. I cant find anyone to go but think I have a good system worked out.

I plan to hang a single line down the selected line and as I aid up move my Ascender along. I also have a tibloc I could use to back it up.

does this sound like a pretty bomber method?

Just dont leave any slack in your life line. You can rip the sheath off your rope. Ascender and tibloc both have teeth.
