Hey, I'm heading out to BYU Aug 27 and I will be looking for a partner to do some toproping and hopefully get into sport climbing (I can second trad too, that's cool). But anyway, I have only toproped up to around 5.9 maybe cause there isn't really any routes around me now higher than that that I have tried so I dunno what I max out at.

My classes leave me pretty free evenings or friday mornings and saturdays all day. I have 6 QD's, harness, helmet, all that stuff, a crashpad, but no rope or pro yet:-\. So if anyone needs a partner (doesn't matter if you have been out there or are just getting out there let me know. I'm looking forward to some good climbing. BTW I'm living in DT and I will be sharing a car with my bro.

Hey, I know lots of climbers in Provo. Check out www.jerkamer.com
That is a forum for us Utah climbers, we go on climbing trips all the time, there's always someone to climb with, boulder, trad, sport, aid, whatever. I live in Provo (sometimes). There's some good limestone near there! Email me.

If you go to the Quarry (rock gym right next to Movies 8) there's a bulletin board with names and numbers of people that want to climb. You'll find plenty of climbers - with gear - there.

Go Cougars!

whoa. can we mock the Bring 'em Youngers? I'll start.

This BYU student is driving by Point of the Mountain. She sees this dude by the prison in an orange jumpsuit frantically thumbing for a ride, so she picks him up. She then strikes up the conversation.
"so... you escape from that prison over there?"
"yes," the man responds quietly.
"what was your crime?" she asks in a friendly manner.
"well," mumbles the convict, "I killed my wife and children with an axe."
"You mean you're single??!!!"

hehe. sorry. and AF is a chosspile.

Q: Why is Mother's Day tough on Mormon kids?
A: You aren't sure who to buy for.

A Baptist, a Catholic, and a Mormon were discussing their families. The Baptist said, "I have four children -- one more, and I'll have my own basketball team."

The Catholic said, "I have eight children -- one more and I'll have my own baseball team."

The Mormon said, "That's nothing. I have seventeen wives -- one more, and I'll have my own golf course."

ok ok, I'm done - till i hear better ones anyway

okay, okay.

Brigham Young walking down State Street, and he sees this very attractive young woman. So, he approaches her, and says, "Young Lady, how would you like to be my 29th wife?"
She replies, "oh daddy, stop it!"
