"Daniel, a native of Asheville, NC, began climbing in 2003 in North Carolina. His eagerness for experience and passion for climbing has led him around Western Canada, Colorado, Wyoming, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virgin Gorda, and extensively in North Carolina. He enjoys all forms of climbing, from bouldering to multipitch ice. He is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree from Davidson College in Biology and will be studying abroad in New Zealand starting in July 2010. Daniel professionally guides and has shared many days shadowing guides in North Carolina and Colorado and also guides for Davidson Outdoors. He is a AMGA certified Single Pitch Instructor and a WMA certified Wilderness First Responder."
