So i wasnt too sure where to post this, so i figureed the Campground thread was the place.
A bit of background.
I currently live in New Zealand but have visited Squamish twice before, 2 and 3 years ago respectively. My brother, living in Vancouver, is getting married in July, and i have the duty to organisie the stag do. I'm looking for a little help in finding a location for a bunch of the boys (12) to camp in Squamish for one night where we wont be causing a nuisance to others. We are all outdoor guys, so being a bit in the sticks is OK, but basically i'm trying to tap any info on a tucked away clearing with a river/lake nearby for a swim in the AM. We are looking to get back into Squamish for a raft trip the morning after we camp so something where a logging road or similar connecting us to the highway would be awesome
We are very respectful bunch, and will endeavour to leave the area we stay in a better state than when we arrived so please dont think this is a bunch of guys looking to trash the beautiful landscape of Squamish.
If you guys have anything that you think might fit the description above, that'd be awesome.

got a truck? Theres some places near the river on the stawamus FSR, about a 20min drive up.

Oh and this place is like any logging road in BC beyond the highway.
