You can also just use realplayer to download the youtube vids. then convert them to mp3.

That disgusting piece of rotten shit still exists?
DO NOT INSTALL REALPLAYER !!!!
Also there is a perfectly easy way to grap the .flv from the cache, and then run it through ffmpeg on the CLI, that gets you a nice .mp3 without much hassle.
Just google "ffmpeg youtube flash mp3" and you should get a few dozend how-tos.
