As some of you may know I'm an avid backpacker but I've never taken on anything like this before so I'm asking for your assistance to help me reach my goal and hopefully save a child's life.
On August 27, 2011 I will be hiking 33 miles on the Superior Hiking Trail in order to raise $2,500 for children's cancer research.
While the section of the SHT that I'll be hiking is visually stunning it's also the most difficult section of the trail with over 18,000 feet of elevation change over 33 miles.

Well I'm approaching the halfway point and I'm nearly on track. I've raised $860 so far and only need another $390 to meet my halfway goal of $1,250.
