Yo. This is driving me bonkers. What's the deal with the trend in the smilied portion of this graph:
Amazon.com shows a clear seasonal trend, but the same is trend is far from apparent in the other graphs:

The only thing I see with those graphs is that someone that isn't me is making a shitload of money, and that occasionaly they have shitloads of money spikes.

Why the graphs show an increase before the end of 2009?
No sure, maybe also the reason below?

Umm. My point in including the Amazon.com graph is to show that Christmas/Thanksgiving effect is clearly shown in both 2009 and 2010, whereas the spike(s) in 2009 are not. So, no, it does not appear to have anything to do with that.
