Yo - We used to play Quake over the office network in the holidays. That was years ago though. What can we play in 2010 on our office network (2 to 12 engineer types at a time) Oh yeah, and free would be mandatory! We have total control of the server(s) and network fyi. Cheers!

Serious Sam (Second Encounter) is a pretty fun FPS. Not sure about free as I'm assuming you'll have to buy the game. Once you have the game you can set up your own server or use others for three. Used to have a blast with that one in my old office. America's Army isn't terrible either. That is free.

You're abandoning Quake?! *horror* Even with the death mods (poison arrows, proxy mines...)?
