Hi guys, I am working on a project and could use some assistance. The simple idea for this project is to positively impact under-utilized public spaces by installing a simple swing. One swing can turn a vacant lot into a park. What occurs once the swing is in place will vary from one location to the next, and it's intriguing to see the public response to this familiar object set in an unfamiliar place. I am looking for some rope that you have retired or may be retiring soon - or if you know where I may be able to find some donated rope in the central Mississippi area. The diameter needs to be approximately 1/2" with minimal "stretchiness" for this project. I have no set number for how many swings I will create, but the more rope I can get, the better. For more info on this project, check out: www.redswingproject.org Thank you for your time.

The installations will be anonymous - as much as possible.

Check with the local climbing gyms. They probably have a bunch of retired gym ropes that would be perfect for a stealth installation. Good luck.
