If you have any doubt who the Taliban are and what they are doing take a look here at the photos and movie clips of public executions, done in front of innocent women and children. That is how they rule, through brutality and intimidation. Now they are getting too big for their own britches and the terror is spilling around the world. I refuse to live in fear and will do anything necessary to eliminate the threat. If it takes a hundred years we cannot succomb to their brutal will. We have a DUTY to resist and conquor it!

Kagunkie, I just went to that site. It is almost unthinkable what those people can do to their country. For anyone who feels sorry for the Taliban, they need to visit this site. Chilling....

I think the way they behave is intollerable.
Those are their ideals, the Chinese also have their own ideals that I do not agree with.

The problem is that this is part of their FAITH and value system. They want to live with the values and ideals that were prevelant in the time before Christ. They view modern values as evil, greedy, and blasphemous.

To the Christians:
Please do not forget that the prefered form of execution in the Holy Bible was public stoning. Think about that... Your family and friends watch as you are SLOWLY killed by people throwing rocks at you until you are dead. That's slow, torturous, and agonizing. And it was condoned by the religious leaders, and even pronounced as sentence for crimes like adultery. Think about that, the head of your church sentences you to be killed in pulic, in front of your family and friends, slowly by being pummeled with rocks for cheating on your husband.(adultery only applied to women)

To the Americans (I am one):
Think about what we as a nation did to the American Indians in front of their families and children, not so far in the past. We stole their land and slaughtered them out of greed. Think also of the injustices that we subjected African Americans to as recently as the 60's.

To The Enlightened:
Think about what the Nazi's did to countless victims in front of their families and freinds, and they were a 20th century 'Westernized and Enlightened' nation.

We, the human race, do things to each other that no other animal on Earth would do. We, the Free Democracies of the World, are not as virtuous as we think we are, and we have not been enlightened for very long.

Remember This:
"Those who do not remember history, are doomed to repeat it."

They are women hating b*st*rds. Well, I feel better now. No really, I just got an email about this same thing. They basically feel that they own the women over there. Women that were doctors, teachers, etc...are not allowed to do that anymore because of the Taliben. They feel that women shouldn't be allowed to work. Many women are dying because they accidentally show some skin. A woman was beating to death by a group of them because a little bit of her arm showed while she was driving her car. Plus, if a woman doesn't have on her veil in public, that gives the men permission to beat her to death. If a woman is married, she's not allowed to work and has to stay home with all of the windows blocked off so no one can see her. I was shocked and disgusted when I got that email.

I only have words of support for the Americans. The terrorist have to pay for that.

Nevertheless, it is important to reflect on the way that the Americans interactuan with the world and the problems that they generate. It is not as simple as a world of bad and good people.

jaricaurte....
You bring up an excellent point. The world is much more than black and white, there are many things to concider here. Our leaders and population have grown complacent over these many years of peace. Now we have a wakeup call, and I dont believe too many of us are sleeping right now. We will rest soon enough, just as soon as we take care of business, and we are the best in the world at taking care of business. YOU CAN BET YOUR LIFE ON THAT.

I've had the opportunity to travel to quite a few other countries years back, and I know MANY people from a s---load of other countries. Unfortunately, WE are the most hated country on this planet. And what's worse, we give lots of aid and money to those same countries that hate us.

I don't think we should become isolationists and abandon everyone, but I think we should take a hard look at our foreign policies, and reevaluate our priorities.

I added it to both sites the same day, although it recieved much more commentary at gunks.com the people on this site also found it horribly informative. However shocking it is we need to realize just how cruel and brutal these people are. Nobody can convince me that they dont need to be neutralized.
