a [i:94b192df71]milliner[/i:94b192df71]? you mean like a hat maker? cool. as far as your post, if she's looking for the tips and how-to's of winter camping, the advice you'll find in the popular literature will generaly apply equally to men [i:94b192df71]and[/i:94b192df71] women. women [i:94b192df71]do[/i:94b192df71] have some physiological idiosyncracies insofar as maintaining core heating and peripheral circulation, but, if you're looking for the basics, at this point i might suggest "mountaineering: the freedom of the hills" for its comprehensive yet no-nonsense approach. there's also one called "allen & mike's really cool backcountry ski book", by allen o'bannon and mike clelland, which is more of a winter camping guide that a ski book. it's written in a humorous style, and the tips are right on. once she's digested that, go for the women's specific books; there are bound to be a number of them out there. good luck!
