Women of New England, get ready to rock! What: International Mountain Climbing School's Women's Rock Weekend, 2008! Where: International Mountain Equipement North Conway, NH When: June 21st & 22nd, 2008 Why: To climb, get inspired, and meet fellow climbers! Join us in June for two fabulous days in the White Mountains! Women's Rock Weekend is jam-packed with climbing instructional clinics (beginner to advanced), a women's dinner, community party, and a slide show by a pro climber. We'll also have our famous goodie bags for all clinic participants, a gear raffle with top-notch prizes, and a silent auction to benefit the women's crisis center here in North Conway. You'll be able to check out the latest and greatest in climbing gear during our free demo, plus score huge discounts at the IME climbing shop while you're here. What more could a woman want? Women's Rock Weekend clinics will be led by professional women guides from IMCS and professional "celebrity" women guides flying in from all corners of the country to join the event. We'll also be taking advantage of some of the considerable talent on the roster of IMCS men guides to give large clinics more personal instruction. Private guides will be available for women who want to do multi-pitch climbing. Sign Up! Please call us in the IMCS office to register in advance for the clinics, dinner, and slideshow! All women are invited to attend, either to take part in the many clinics, or to simply be in the area to enjoy the spirit of the mountains. This event is a good way to network with other women climbers living in the New England region. Most of all this weekend will inspire, motivate, and lead your climbing skills to another level! For more information contact IMCS by: Email: guides@ime-usa.com or Phone: (603) 356-7064 Check out our BLOG too: http://womensrockweekend.blogspot.com

So, ladies, who else is going? I'm heading up with a colleague Friday morning. Might have room for 1-2 more if someone needs a ride from the Poughkeepsie, NY area. Kathy

Do you have detailed information on the types of clinics etc? The description of the event is rather vague. What can participants expect to achieve by attending?

Did you see this link? http://www.ime-usa.com/...y/index.html#clinics For more info, call the school. I found them to be helpful.
