Hey,

I realize I could post this in the gearheads forum, but I thought I'd get a better response here. Five.ten is having a great deal on the Prima but I've never seen anyone wear these - are they good shoes? Anyone have any experience with them? The design seems nice and simple and I'd like something that's narrow for my feed (my evolv's are a bit too wide).

Thoughts?

I thought about trying a pair of these but honestly they looked and felt like they'd fall off my feet the minute I did just about anything in them. Good luck!

have some and don't like them at all. You can't heel hook in them and the sole only goes 1/2 way so they fit really 'soft' even when they're tight (hard to explain the feeling, sorta not enough support or stiffness or something)

I just got a pair of these and they're based on the design of a ballet slipper, so, like a ballet slipper, it would probably be a good idea to sew on an elastic strap over the top so they fit right. I figure, for $30.00 shoes, I'll take the extra five minutes to sew something on to make them fit better.

They do feel very soft, which I happen to like, but I could see why some people may not like to sacrifice comfort for support. Also, they feel a little more cambered to me, with the toes turned in, than other shoes I've used. The sizing, however, seems a bit off. I have some Sirens in a 5.5, but I got the Primas in a 6.5 and they fit the same as the Sirens. Go figure.
