I ran into 6 climbing moms this weekend. It was wonderful to get first hand advise on many things climbing mom related, but the biggest discovery for me was information about joint pain. So, I guess it's pretty normal to have joint pain after having a baby. All moms I talked to had issues with joint pain after delivery for months. Many seem to think only after they stopped breastfeeding did it go away. One warned me about pushing too hard for the first year; she did that and she ended up with multiple injuries. I was starting to wonder if joint pain would ever go away, and it was comforting to know it will go away at some point. And it was really nice to talk to other moms who understand how difficult it is to hold back once baby is out, but I needed to hear how that is necessary. It is interesting how I climbed much better when I was pregnant than now...

I had joint pain all throughout my pregnancies as well as afterward. Just remember giving birth can be really traumatic for your body and give it appropriate time to recover so you don't injure yourself :)

No shit. I really don't buy much of this supplemental stuff, but I may be desperate enough to try this. Thanks!
