This is not to promote another website.....just wondering????
Are any of you womyn members of www.sheclimbs.org?
This looks like a great group to join to maybe create a local chapter of womyn to go climbing with. It also provides discounts at numerous places for gear, resoleing and more. They also have annual gatherings with workshops and much more. Just wanted to bring it up to some folks in case they cannot find people through rc.com to hook up with and to be a part of a womyn based orginazation in this male dominated sport.
I plan to join one of these days if i could only come up with 20 bucks to join. pretty sad when 20 bucks can make or break your week.....it's a pain being poor.

What a great site! I think I've seen it before, but never really looked hard enough. It would be great to have a womyn's outing. I may look into it....
Unless...
Any chicky mama's here want to organize a "Girls Climb Out"?

Sigh, if only I could travel more than I do...
I think our gatherings are pretty cool regardless, even with guys tagging along
That stuff looks a bit too organized for my liking.

i saw all the gatherings they do, and it looks great.

Yah, I am part of sheclimbs... I have done a few gatherings with them - they are a great group of gals and very inspiring too!
I would be up for a gathering of the women... Let me know when and where I am jobless right now so any time will do for the time being
