So, as you all know march 8th is International Women Day. So girls all over the world should celebrate it.
Here, not only celelabrated it, we invaded Urca in a all women climbing events. 39 women climbed simultaneously different routes of the Babilônia Dome.
All of them wearing pink shirts that said " Tititi no Babilônia " meaning nothing else but "Gigling at Babilônia", because, that what girls do we gigle and we invade domes.
Of course I had to ruin the pic wearing a striped shirt, but, well I can't climb so, whatever. and ,they didn't care, they were actually happy to finally see me after the accident. And I was much happier to finally see them. 
It was a fun day, with a lot of drinking by the beach after the climb.

Actually, I bet that there are lots of women who don't know about Women's Day in North America. It wasn't until I was working in Cambodia and my co-workers (thai and cambodian) gave me presents the day before Women's Day (it's actually a stat holiday there) that I actually heard about it.
Great to see so many women climbing and having fun... thanks for sharing!

Cool pic. I am shamed to say that I was supossed to go to a lunchon here at work for it....but I completly spaced and forgot about it.
There's a whole women's advisory counsol thing here at work (which is a very male dominated workplace, though my copany does try to hire as many women as they can it seems), I've been wondering if I should check it out sometime.

wow, gifts? Here all we get is a "Happy womens day" from everybody.
And if not many people know about it in the North AMerica, spread the word!!
