I was getting very suddenly dumped So disregard my *mush* in the men we love thread I started... I spoke too soon!
So I sit here on rc.com, trying to post as many things that let me eke out faces as I can, while I suck down a big pot of spaghettti alfredo (too ghetto to buy fettucine noodles) and pet my Yosemite guidebook. If I had my druthers, I'd hop the next 'hound out there and fart around for a few days (before returning for the AZ Gathering, natch )
Sigh...

Climbed with Reg (raganwald), Grant (darkside), and this guy Cam who isn't on the site...yet (we're lobbying). Also met up with Mark (fiend) briefly. And hooked up with some people from NY on one problem -- it's so much fun to have a big cheering section, even if you don't send!
Everyone was MASSIVELY supportive of me and very helpful (good goddess I'm glad I can heel hook or I'd still be up on one problem). I learned a bunch and am pleasantly achy this morning.
Tying this into the forum a bit: Hooray for all the great guys and women that were out at the Glen yesterday! It's so great to see everyone working together as equals! We need to rub all the nice climber-people all over all the racist, sexist people in the world and see if it comes off!
...then again, that might just lead to the rest of the world being slightly more dirty and stinky....

I'd love to hook up with you guys if you're going to the glen any time soon - I'm mainly a sport climber, though - And this weekend I think I'm going to White's Bluff and T.V. Tower.
