Can I be a little blunt here? I'm very good at it.

Why does the Ladies' Room have to be about our emotional problems, too?? This is oftentimes why I don't like women's 'climbing' functions because it always ends up like this and does nothing to forward women's climbing.

See, I don't find that at all. When we girls get together, we get together and CLIMB. And if the topic of hurtful boys comes up, it just makes us climb harder  . Personally, I think it's great that other women can turn to each other here for support on issues like that. Climbing girls are different than other girls, and when relationships go wrong, it helps to have girlfriends similar to you who have gone through similar experiences to provide some emotional support to get ya through the hard days.

I mean, there's only so many conversations here you can have about climbing during your period, how to keep tangles out of your hair at the crag or peeing standing up before it gets really old. At least when people share their feelings it lets us know there's a real person behind a username.

I 100% agree...
The issue is not women relating to eachother, because we can... i i think what maculated is saying is that this isnt the place for that, and it is unfortunate that the Ladies Room and Womens climbing functions tend to go that direction. Lets forget about the emotional rubbish for awhile, and enjoy climbing chat. :D
