What are some good shorts for climbing? The running shorts that I usually wear ride up and don't work well with my harness. I'm looking for something cheap. It doesn't need to be climbing specific. I just need some shorts that I can wear comfortably with a harness.

Do you want them to be short shorts, about the same length as running shorts?
Then look into yoga shorts, something like this:

If price is your first priority, then I would say that your best bet is to head to a discount retailer such as TJmaxx/marshalls, and look through their activewear rack.
