Looking for the Kings of Queen City, people who have heart, are honest about who they are and belayers that watch the person that they are belaying. No excuses.
Things that I love:
Men that are riotous, funny and charming but don't talk about themselves all the time and don't have huge amounts of emotional armoring diguised as
arrogance. *
Women who are strong, hilarious and intuitive and don't talk about inane things all of the time.
People that make climbing look easy but are not shitty about it when you ask a question.
Red Wine and Single Malt Scotch.
Things I hate:
Belayers that don't pay attention and don't give beta.
When people call foot holds nubbins, except for my climbing partner Sharon...she gets a pass cuz she is a good kid.
* Ladies, if you find one of these rare species, quite simply, marry them. I did.
