Meteora is fantastic. Rock is conglomerate in sandstone. More than 1000 routes up to IX UIAA but most are up to VII. Protection can be from scary in some older and easier routes to good in more recent ones. Great scenery. You can see some photos here: http://www.denkata.hit.bg/Meteora/Meteora.html

Greece is wonderful for climbing. You can find anything at any time. Crete (www.climbincrete.com) has mainly trad routes. However, the last few years a lot of hard rock climbing routes have been opened in 2 places near the sea with grades up to 8b. Apart from climbing if you like getting in touch with locals, you will discover the other/real face of Greece in Crete. Have a look also at www.explorecrete.com. It is not about climbing but you will get an idea about the island.
