Maybe not particularlay helpful: look for something higher up and north facing. Most parts of southern Europe are pretty hot in August, imo too hot for climbing.

For routes you also have frankenjura and les gorges du verdon. (muti pitch too in verdon). And for the gorge du tarn inform yourself before going because there have been an accident and many routes are yet unbolted.

Have a look at www.climbincrete.com. Crete (Greece) is a great place to climb, many routes up to 8b+ single or multi pitches.
