Does anyone have an update. We are planning on arriving kalymnos in october. It sounded like the fires were really bad.

There should be no real problem in Kalymnos. Just be careful there if you are a smoker : though there's almost no tree on this island, the small bushes will be extremely dry in October (usually no rain from mi-april to mid-october). By the way I will be there from 9/17 to 9/22, I will update if you want. KALYMNOS, HERE I COME!!!

Just seen that You will have no problem in Kalymnos or anywhere else at this time of the year.

Yes, it's true. Many tufas have fallen during my week : one which almost hit a belayer in Ghost Kitchen (a useless one, but the climber was out of the route, rested on it broke it, while the belayer was almost under it...). Others in Sikati Cave (a couple of Frenchies found "funny" to test their resistance, as reported by another couple of Frenchies). Don't play with the tufas, they are fragile. And beautiful.
