Thinking on heading to the Wetterstien in August to do a couple climbs on the Sonnenspitze.
I have the Wetterstein Süd guide. Anyone have additional beta / interesting info for the area??

I am set for this trip for a partner :-)
You are in Germany? I always looking for more people to climb with as I have only been here a few months now ( I line in North-Rhine-Westphalia ). Hoping to make a lot of trips to the Paltz and the Eifel this summer, with a few to the Alps and Italy.
I have done some cragging near this area, but was planning on camping at/near the base for a couple day in order to climb 2 or 3 lines. Any beta on 'cheap/free' camping or water would be great as we don't love the idea of humping in 2 days of water.
There is a cabin (7€ /night), but it looks like quite a hike away...
Also, not sure of the best place to park my car for a couple days (it is old and will be empty, but I'd like it to be there when we hike out)?
