I think I will have 2 free days in Monte Carlo, and I would like to ditch the casinos and go do some climbing. I know there are a plethora of crags in the area, but it's actually too much and I don't know where to begin. I think I need a guide service of some sort, and probably some beginner grade climbs (nothing above a 5.10 or 5a)

Not sure about Monaco itself. Would suggest Baou de St Jeannet which would involve some driving but not much (twds Nice). You have a couple of several pitches route approx 5a (= 5.7 US) and 6a (= 5.10a US).
