Hi, can you list any website that will give pretty accurate and reliable weather information and forecast for Verdon Gorges? I'll be going there next week probably. Also, in this period, wich is the best part of the day to climb at the main wall? (I mean L'Escalés of course) Thanks ghisino

Hi check out http://pages.unibas.ch/.../nmm22/NMM220127.htm It's a website of a university in Switzerland. If you click the part part on the map where Verdon about is you'll get a detailed forecast for the region for the next few days... if they don't have semester break.... cheers Fabe

I climbed at L'Escalès and at Galetas two weeks ago, and the afternoons were still warm on the face. But as long as the sun hasn't hit the wall, it's pretty cold especially if the fog is in the Gorges.
