Hi,
i want to climb in spain and italy from mid' aug' untill the end of sep'.
I dont know where to start that will be the most "cold" place to climb and will be easy to find partners.
Thought about rodellar for 2 weeks and then catalunya -arco.
Ill be happy to get some info.

Hey Lihi,
I am not from Spain or Italy and have been only to a few places there, however I would probably start somewhere "high":) I mean somewhere higher in the Alps...what about Cinque Torri? The main "season" there is June/July/August so this might be an option. Last year we wanted to go there in the end of September and ended up in Arco since in Cinque Torri it already started to snow:) Anyway there is plenty of other climbing places nearby (near Cortina d'ampezzo). Arco might be a possibility as well since there are places which are higher (eg. Val Lomasone) and in a shade...

Alps sounds smazing! as i looked at the pics of the place and read about it. but i think it will be hard to find partners there and a bit of expensive.
I guess ill stick with the plan, or find take someone with me.

I'll be in south tyrol around Aug. 7 for a week. Will be staying in bozen so it's right in the Dolomites. I'm bringing a rope and a rack, just need a partner. I can lead up to 6c (5.11c) trad or sport. Let me know if you're in the area, i'll have a car....Gary
