Hi there! Lohr is in a region called Spessart. I wouldn't know of any climbing there, but you are next to the Odenwald which is known for a couple of minor but interesting crags. A little further to the south, in Northern Bavaria, there's the Frankenjura. Look for the cities of Bamberg, Nuremberg (Nürnberg) and Bayreuth. They build a triagle around the ultimate climber's Mekka. THE place to be for any bolt junkey. This is where the redpoint was born, this is where the first UIAA 11 of the world (action directe) was climbed... finest limestone in far beyond 5000 routes... oh, you just got a week? Have fun there! Daniel

Next climbing area from Lohr is the old sandstone quarry of Miltenberg, about 60km in the south (20 climbs, mostly cracks). The better choice would be probably the Frankenjura as described by Tisar.
