You may have noticed that Routes (in the Routes Database) are not sorted alphabetically anymore. Instead, they are sorted by sequence number. This change was made to allow for the manual sorting of routes as they actually exist, typically from left to right at a climbing section (wall or crag). The sequence numbers were imported from the previous Rockclimbing.com routes database, to preserve the manual sorting that was done in the past. New routes added since the launch of the new site (3 months ago) won't have sequence numbers, but these can now be added. Please note that only routes database editors can update sequence numbers at the moment. If you want to modify the sequence of routes at a crag, please PM the editor for that section. The name(s) of the routes editor(s) can be found at the bottom of any page in the Routes section. DDT
