By now most you know of Mr. Langford in this story (if you don't, check out some of jmlangford's pics) I just wanted to say thanks to both jmlangford and his father for the great contributions to both this site and to the sport of climbing. The book deal needs to happen! Check out the pics. I think everyone should thank both individuals for their contributions.

Well, they all took the words out of my mouth JODY, between the HISTORICAL photos of your DADS and his partners, and your awesome photographic work,(you are better than you think in the eyes of this amateur), the contributions to this site and the climbing community are INVALUABLE. Kudos to you and to your DAD for raising you to keep the tradition going. Guess your son has some big shoes to fill!!! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, JIM AND JODY!!!

Jmlangford I don't know exactly what a "kudo" is, but it always seems to imply good things. So, forgive my ingnorance, but have a butt load of kudos on me. I mean this in a good way, even though I don't know what I'm saying.

You guys (and gals) are waaaaay too nice! With the exception of the kudos for my dad, you're overdoing the value of my contributions here. Just the same, it is very much appreciated! I had my dad come over and look at these posts and he got embarrassed and asked me what kind of lies I was telling about him...that he didn't deserve all the kudos. Well, he does and I am thanking you folks for him. As far as my photography goes...I just get lucky. God creates the beauty and I happen to get around to enough places to be in the right place at the right time every so often. Like I've said before, I did NOT inherit his mountaineering and climbing skills so I am using this site to follow in his footsteps. Thanks again for the props, you folks are TOO nice!
