Does anyone think a "Lost & Found" forum would be a good idea? Seems like we are all losing and finding a lot of stuff...

Our Local online Forum (Live-the-Vision) has a "Lost/Found" Forum. It's a great idea for local forums and boards. I'm not sure if it's as useful/effective on a board like RC.com with the user base so spread out, but then again it is a very large user base and there are many members in all area... could work. My vote would be to give it a shot. Hey DDT, you reading this one?

This is brought up like every 2 months when someone new registers and thinks it's never been brought up before. and it always ends the same... post your lost and found threads in either Regional or the Partner forums of that area.

Yeah, I agree with jake... since we're so geographically diverse, the only thing that makes sense is to utilize the regional discussion forum for it. If the title of the post is prefixed with "Lost: ..." or "Found: ..." it's bound to work quite well. DDT

Newspapers have "lost & found" sections in the classifieds. Newspapers have been around a long time and are fairly proven technology. I am not the only one wondering which forum to post under. Maybe someone needs to open their mind?
