So I'm off on a road trip and I discover that there is this great little wall near Castlegar and the only beta is here on the route database: http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/North_America/Canada/British_Columbia/Kootenays/The_Water_Line_Wall/The_Big_Boulder/ "I'm gonna print me out these here routes" I say. "Hmmmm..." I ponder, "don't seem to be anyway to get a nice little guide book going using this here internet thingee!" "Ah well," I decide, "guess I'll just write it out by hand..." Doesn't it seem odd that there is no printer-friendly page so we can use the database somewhere other than in front of our computer. Just wondering...

I wonder what kind of liability RC.com would have if they starting expecting people to print out all the copyrighted information that has simply been copied out of the original guide book. I understand that some areas don't have a guide book/book is out of print/guide book is gawd damn awefuk, but they shouldn't make it a feature to print of mini guides off this site unless they are sure it isn't copyrighted information in the first place.

From my experience, the route descriptions are about as accurate as the advice on this site. I wouldn't use either at the crag.
