Can we have a forum for people who love solo and free-solo climbing? Its hard to find and have discussiond with other free-soloists on-line.... just a thought!

I would support the idea of a solo forum but only if it only allowed one person in at a time. You know, for purity.

Those things are endangered and human contact with them isn't advised. I'd go with a corral, personally.

its fun and makes a greater challenge to overcome... it is also fast and efficient and doesnt require other climbers in your area... you also dont have to trust your life to anyone but yourself (i dont care about that last one, I usually climb with a partner)

experience climbers have no problem with solo climbers
we have exposure to them and thus, we know they are mostly a tight lipped crowd
dialogue between them isnt going to increase their numbers, or the survival odds of those who pine after recognition as your surviving soloist is perdominantly loath to

If you're soloing a route, you have no safety other than your skills and strength. Betting your abilities are sound with your life = pretty freaking egotistic. Arguing that it's not = even more egotistic.

dont get me wrong.. i love climbing with partners... i usually do. soloing is just a fun thing I do when im feeling bold, want a challenge or have no one to climb with.... i also am refering to climbing un-roped even if you are with other people.. not neccesarily being alone
